August 4, 2024 (Brisbane, AUS) – Pickleball Australia Association announced the appointment of Amy Hill as a director on the Pickleball Australia Association Board, effective July 2024. Hill is an accomplished and highly regarded executive and director in the sport and major event sectors, an award-winning entrepreneur and cultural leader.
Believing in business, leadership, and sport as a force for good, she is fiercely committed to seeing systemic change in how organizations lead and achieve greater impact with the platforms they have.
Recognized for her broad capabilities spanning strategy, leadership, sustainability, resilience, organizational capability and complex operations, Hill is the co-founder and director of Podium Global Advisory, Principal Advisor of Starling Advisory, Director of Simplify Systems and a Independent Director of Life Saving Victoria.
Amy previously served as General Manager of Operations at the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and Chief Operating Officer of the Y Australia Group.
Amy also co-founded and launched an award winning, eco-conscious outdoor apparel brand, Norte, and has leveraged this platform to contribute to international biodiversity projects, as a mentor to startup businesses and through sponsoring young athletes and community events.
Awarded Executive of the Year in the Global Outstanding Leadership Awards in recognition of her rare leadership qualities, for over 20 years Amy has paved a pathway for emerging leaders, trailblazed new ground and built high performance environments where people thrive.
