The recently launched Global Pickleball Federation is now inviting leaders to step up and help advance the worldwide development of the sport of pickleball.
GPF will add four talented and motivated volunteers from across the world to its Board of Directors. The Federation is in search of individuals with impressive credentials, depth of expertise and notable accomplishments in one or more of the following areas:
· Membership Development
· Sport Development
· Financial Management
· Marketing and Communications
· Sponsorships, Partnerships and Fundraising
· Board Governance, Legal Affairs
Additional attributes include:
· Achievements as a leader in a non-profit and/or volunteer organization
· Results-obsessed leader with exemplary communication and collaboration skills
· Experience as a member of a board of directors
· Bandwidth, inspiration and motivation to assume a Board role
· Strong interest in sport governance and pickleball leadership
· A passion for the game!
Applications should include: place of residence, background in pickleball/sports governance, areas of competence, keen interest and why you would be a major contributor to achieving the GPF’s vision.
